  1. Shrink Art Using Shrink Art to show understanding of ratios, and fractions, decimals, and percentages

  2. Step 1 Create a chart like the one below. Width Original Measurement of the Width:______________cm Shrink Art Measurement of the Width: ______________cm Original Measurement of the Height:_______________cm Shrink Art Measurement of the Height:______________cm Height Original Measurement of the Diagonal:__________________cm Shrink Art Measurement of the Diagonal:_________________cm Diagonal

  3. Step 2 • Using a centimeter ruler, measure the Width, Height and Diagonal of your plastic. Be sure to record this on your chart from step one.

  4. Step 3 • Lightly sand the plastic. • Carefully trace a picture onto your plastic using a BLACK sharpie or permanent marker. • Carefully Color in your picture with colored sharpies or permanent markers. • Be sure to put your name at the bottom. • Punch a hole in the top of your shrink art.

  5. Step 4 Have Ms. Myer Bake your Shrink Art!

  6. Step 5 Measure the Height, Width and Diagonal of your Shrink Art. Be sure to record this on the chart you created earlier.

  7. Step 6 Create a like the one below. Be sure to leave enough room to show ALL your work.

  8. Step 7 You are finished! Be sure to turn in the Shrink Art and the two charts with the work you completed. This is an assessment grade!!!!
