CNG Roundtable: CNG Users Tuesday, January 31st • Barriers • of • CNG: • Limited # of available public stations • Time it takes to access the few public stations currently available • Compressing stations need to correct pressure in order to fully fuel • High tank upfits and maintenance • High cost for upkeep of fueling station • Timely approval process for building stations • Unpredictable future codes on permitting process in NYC • Lack of tax credit for vehicles • Need CNG vehicles that are currently unavailable, i.e. M2 26,000 -CNG CNG Roundtable: Infrastructure Development Wednesday, February 22nd
