Politics Shift • Minority vote which had traditionally gone Republican shifts to Democrat in the 1930’s
Role of Government Expands • Playing a Larger Role in the Economy • Gone are the days when gov. stays out of business • Rejection of laissez faire • Accepted responsibility for spurring economic growth
