Alok Gupta supervision, the group’s manufacturing capacity for steel has increased six fold in less than 10 years. • His in-depth understanding of the EPC process and the challenging environment in Nigeria drove the successful investments in other manufacturing projects of African Industries. • From 2006, he led the group’s expansion into sodium silicate, Aluminum Sulphate and Sulphuric acid by building an integrated chemicals complex in Ogun State. Subsequently a glass plant was completed in 2009.
