A date with David Created by Renee and Rachel
You are here at Vacantville, Wisconsin. Your name is Nessi Nervous and you have a crush on David Dater that is a year older than you. You are single just like David and you think he likes you. And by the way it is Llama Day and you are in a happy mood. You just came home and started your homework. You here the phone ring, you read the caller I D, and it says David Dater.
Do you let it ring and have the answering machine get it because you’re nervous? OR Do you answer because it might lead to a better finish?
You decided to let it ring. But just the thought of him even calling gets you nervous for tomorrow. So you think of a plan to be sick. Your 1st idea is to draw chicken pox on yourself when you remember you already had the chicken pox, plan ruined. 2nd choice is that you make sounds in the bathroom that may sound like puking, when all of a sudden you hear the phone beep, which means there is a message.
Do you check to see what the message says? OR Do you just call him back without checking the message?
You go to check the messages. It was from David, but what if he isn’t calling about dating? You check it anyway because of your curiosity. The message sounds like this: hello, its David. I was wondering what your doing tomorrow and if you could call me back when you get this I would like to talk to you; OMG. Did he really say that he wanted to know what I was ‘doing’ tomorrow?
Do you leave a message for him to call you back? OR Do you tell him sorry for calling and hang up?
You chose to leave a message for him to call back. Good luck he calls you back 5 minutes later and you arrange a date for Friday at the movies.
You answer the phone. It is silent. You start to wonder why you called but then you just think about what you are going to say. You can feel the phone jitter with your hand.
Do you start talking? OR Do you wait for him to start talking?
You decide to start talking because if you don’t he might not either. You begin talking about school and the bunch of homework you recently were working on. Somehow that conversation leads to talking about what you are doing on Friday night.
Do you ask him on the date? OR Do you wait for him to ask you on a date?
You decide to ask him on the date since you have nothing to do on Friday night. You two take a walk on the beach (talk about romantic).
You decide to wait for him to ask you on the date and he never gets to asking. Sorry but you don’t get a date with your crush. Ahh man.
You decide to wait for him to start talking. After about a minute he starts talking about what he did today. So you ask him to explain why he called. He took a minute to think about what he was going to say. Once he started to talk you could tell he was nervous. Then he asks you out on Friday.
Do you reject him because you’re nervous? OR Do you say yes to his offer of going out?
You decide to reject him because you are really nervous. Sorry but you don’t get a second chance at love.
Wow you are so lucky; you get to go out with the cutest guy ever. You go to his place to have supper with his parents and you survive. You and David are officially dating.
You tell him sorry for calling and you found out the next day that he got someone else to go out with Friday. Bummer.
You call him back and his MOM answers you get really nervous and you hang up. Then about 10 minutes later you call again and he answers the phone. He asks you on a date.
Do you tell him you’ll meet him there? OR Do you tell him you’re disgusted and reject him?
Fantabulicious! You go to his house and he takes you out to eat at your favorite fast food restaurant.
Because you got so nervous you said that you don’t want to go out. Sorry you two are over. Thanks for trying.
