36th Labor Day Weekend Madness in Montreal! • On behalf of the Board of Directors & Founders of the Philippine Basketball Association of Montreal (PBAM),we welcome each and every one of you this yearto our city for the 36th Philippine International Basketball of North America (PIBNA) tournament. • We know that this will be another exciting and successful tournament because of the great help and support fromour numerous Volunteers, Participants, Fans, and the FilipinoCommunity in general. With the added ubiquitous presence and guidance from Montreal's Mr.JakeMaguigad (ex-PIBNA Commissioner), Mr. Robert de Guzman (PBAM Co-founder & Advisor), Mr. Frank Baluyot (PBAM President), and Mr. Peter Sanchez (PBAM VP, external affairs), this is about 150 years of cumulative experience packed in a barrel to ensure great fun and fair-play is tasted by all.This PIBNA Tournament has grown exponentially over the years and is fastbecoming one of the largest Filipino Cultural Events in North America, with teams coming from all parts of the EasternUnited States, Canada and spiced up by some high profileplayers that played in the PBA will be attending. This truly is looking like a great recipe for a fun-filled weekend!
Through much planning and scheduling, the PBAM is excited to bring to you yet another Labor Day weekend full of greatcompetition between cities that will surely bring out a calypso of excitement.
