Where is it located? • Carnegie Science Center is located on 1 Allegheny Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212. It is also right beside Heinz Field and Sportworks. It has a huge sign and you can’t miss it. It is also located by the merge into the Ohio river.
When did it opened? • The Carnegie Science Center opened on October 5, 1991. Many people that go to the Carnegie Science Center are inspired to become what they want to be when they grow up. The Carnegie Institute indicted an interest in merging with the Buhl Planetariumin 1987.
What is there to see? • There are many exhibits in the Carnegie Science Center. Some of them are well known and some people don’t really know about. Some of the exhibits are very expensive. Some of the exhibits are Highmark Sportsworks, Miniature Railroad & Village and roboworld.
Why is it so popular? • Carnegie Science Center was awarded the National Award for Museum Service. That is the highest award in that field. It is full of fun stuff to do. All of the exhibits and all of the attraction are just breath-taking. People from around the world recognize the name Carnegie Science Center because it has a very good reputation and its traveling galleries.
Who started it? • The Carnegie Institute was started by Andrew Carnegie. It was opened in November 25, 1895. It had the Museum of Natural History, Museum of Art, Library and Music Hall. The Carnegie Science Center became its own when the Buhl Planetarium was getting old and they wanted to merge with them.

Pictures!!!!!!!! • Sportworks shows kids what they can use their energy for. There is three sections in Sportworks. There is Physics of Sports, LifeWorks and Sports Challenge. I suggest going there. I have been there and it is a lot of fun.
