Automate Comparison of eTags to QSE DC Tie Schedules • Add a QSE number or drop down tab in eTag form to Identify ERCOT QSE • Upload ERCOT DC Tie schedules to OATI • Contract with OATI for new displays to sort and compare eTags to QSE DC Tie schedules • Download eTag schedule data from OATI to MDB and Settlements • Enhanced eTag/QSE Schedule reporting capability

Automate Operator offsets for DC Tie eTag/Schedule mismatches • Download approved eTag schedules to ERCOT MDB and MOS • Substitute eTag Schedules for QSE DC Tie Schedules in the operating period real time applications • Automatically provides correct DC Tie flow to SPD for congestion analysis and balancing • Manual operator offset for DC Tie mismatches no longer necessary

  5. Monitor/Compare eTag Net Scheduled Interchange to DC Tie SCADA on EMS Display • Sum of eTags for DC Tie equals Net Scheduled Interchange • NSI downloaded from OATI and linked to an EMS display next to DC Tie SCADA value • Alarm for Differences • Errors identified quickly

  6. Automate Inadvertent Energy Accounting • Perform Inadvertent Energy Accounting on OATI application • Eliminate internal manual spreadsheets • Upload EPS meter data for DC Ties for final meter reading corrections • Inadvertent Energy information downloaded from OATI for final archives • Enhanced OATI reporting capabilities
