Benefits of being an officer • Improve your Spanish communication skills • Get to know GVSU’s Spanish professors • Organzational skills • Great for your resume • Meet other people with similar interests • Learn more about Hispanic culture. ~ All officers will spend an average of 4 hours a week on club activities and duties. ~

  3. President • Meets with club advisor • Goes to LSU & Language House meetings • Organizes meetings • Participates in all activities • Is the Student Life representative

  4. Vice-president • Goes to LSU & Language house meetings • Is in charge of blackboard and website • Picks up mail in the SOC • Participates in all activities

  5. Secretary • Sends out emails to members and professors • Makes and distributes flyers • Participates in all activities

  6. Treasurer • Is in charge of the budget process • Is in charge of weekend funding process • Is in charge of public relations • Participates in all activities • Manages the club’s funds
