  3. A exoskeleton An exoskeleton is a hard covering that supports and protects the bodies of some types of animals. The word exoskeleton means “outside skeleton.” Many invertebrates, or animals without backbones, have exoskeletons. Insects are the largest group of animals that have an exoskeleton.Insects have exoskeletons made of a substance called chitin. The exoskeletons of crabs, lobsters, shrimp, spiders, ticks, mites, scorpions, and related animals are also made of chitin.

  4. JOINTS AND MUSCELS!!! Did you know you have more than 600 muscles in your body? They do everything from pumping blood throughout your body to help you lift your heavy backpack. You can control some of your muscles, while others — like your heart do their jobs without you thinking about them . Muscles are all made of the same material, a type of elastic tissue (sort of like the material in a rubber band). Thousands, or even tens of thousands, of small fibers make up each muscles. Smooth muscles — sometimes also called involuntary muscles — are usually in sheets, or layers, with one layer of muscle behind the other. You can't control this type of muscle. Your brain and body tell these muscles what to do without you even thinking about it. You can't use your smooth muscles to make a muscle in your arm or jump into the air • Smooth muscles are sometimes also called involuntary muscles are usually in sheets, or layers, with one layer of muscle behind the other. Meaning for involuntary muscles: • A muscle that contracts without conscious control and found in walls of internal organs such as stomach and intestine and bladder and blood vessels (excluding the heart

  5. Ball joints and socket joints Ball and socket joints are classified joints because they can move bones along several axes. The muscles that surround the joints permit the femur to move away from the body's mid line. The femur can also move around a full circle .

  7. Invertebrates!! The word invertebrate means an animal that lacks a backbone. Instead, some of these animals poses an exoskeleton that helps in supporting their bodies. Some of the common invertebrates are arthropod, mollusc, coelenterate and annelid among many others. Mollusc Protozoe Insects Annelids

  8. fish Vertebrates!! an animal of a large group distinguished by the possession of a backbone or spinal column, including mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fishes. dolphins mammals seal
