  2. National experience of using ISCO 88 ISCO-based NOC’s are used for: • Statistics of earnings • Labour force statistics (LFS) • The employment classification module (AKM) • Socio-economic classification • Health and safety statistics • Calculating industrial injury insurance premiums

  3. DISCO-88 compared with ISCO-88 When ISCO-88 and DISCO-88 are compared on 4-digit level, they share 366 unit groups, 22 are exclusive of ISCO and 5 are exclusive of DISCO-88. DK does not use (e.g.): 5230: Stall and market salespersons and demonstrators 9111: Street food vendors DK uses (e.g.): 2470: Public service administrations For 3-digit level, 6 groups are exclusive of ISCO and 1 is excl. of DISCO. For 2-digit level, ISCO and DISCO are identical.
