  5. Quality Foods Sustainability Mission Quality Foods continues to be committed to sourcing all of our seafood products from well managed fisheries. Whenever possible, we buy from local watermen, governed by the guidelines of the National Marine Fisheries. Quotas, size limitations, harvest methods, and harvest areas all ensure the long term sustainability of these fisheries. In the global market, along with sourcing MSC certified species, www.msc.org we have also partnered with processors that are engaged with conservation NGO’s such as WWF (www.worldwildlife.org) and Seafood Savers. These organizations implement conservation measures for migratory species, as well as integrating sustainable principles for the fishermen, keeping the marine ecosystem and its resources safe. Our partnership with Trace Register also enables us to have full traceability of all of our resources, verifying species and methods of harvest are sustainable. Quality Foods also sources Farm Raised seafood from farms and processing facilities that are 2Star BAP certified. These plants have complied with the rigorous certification standards of the Global Aquaculture Alliance Best Aquaculture Practices. (www.gaalliance.org) Our commitment to sourcing sustainable fishery products will enable our customers to feel confidentthat all of our products will provide for long term growth and protection of our resources and ecosystems.
