  3. Rainfall Patterns: Last 7 Days Near-average rainfall has been observed over most of the NAM core domain during the past week.

  4. Rainfall Patterns: Last 30 Days Rainfall accumulations over the past 30 days are above-average for southwestern U.S. and most of Mexico.

  6. NCEP/GFS Forecast Below-average rainfall over northwestern Mexico and near-average rainfall for southwestern U.S. during the next two weeks.

Summary • Near-average rainfall has been observed over most of the NAM core domain during the past week. • Rainfall accumulations over the past 30 days are above-average for southwestern U.S. and most of Mexico. • NCEP/GFS Forecasts call for below-average rainfall over northwestern Mexico and near-average rainfall for southwestern U.S. during the next two weeks.
