  1. Theme number 14 Fundamental rights, freedoms and duties of man and citizens in the Republic of Uzbekistan

  3. Citizenship of the Republic of Uzbekistan shall establish a permanent political and legal communications person and the state, as expressed in their mutual rights and obligations.

  4. Uzbek citizenship is acquired: # 1) by birth; No. 2) as a result of admission to citizenship of the Republic of Uzbekistan;? 3) on the grounds stipulated by international treaties of the Republic of Uzbekistan, No. 4) on other grounds provided by law.

  5. The following conditions apply to the citizenship of the Republic of Uzbekistan are:? 1) rejection of foreign citizenship;? 2) permanent residence in the Republic of Uzbekistan in the last five years.? 3) the availability of legitimate livelihoods;? 4) recognition and enforcement of the Constitution.

  6. Requirements specified and paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 of this Article may be waived in exceptional cases by the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan with regard to individuals with outstanding services to the Republic of Uzbekistan, or high achievements in science, technology, culture, and have a profession or qualification of interest for the Republic of Uzbekistan.

  7. Citizenship of the Republic of Uzbekistan shall be terminated: # 1) as a result of renunciation of citizenship of the Republic of Uzbekistan? 2) due to loss of citizenship of the Republic of Uzbekistan;? 3) on the grounds stipulated by international treaties of the Republic of Uzbekistan;? 4) on other grounds provided by law.

  8. Uzbek citizenship is lost: # 1) as a result of admission to the military service, to serve in the security forces, the police, judiciary or other organs of state power and administration in a foreign country;? 2) If a person permanently residing abroad are not fell in the consular register without good cause within five years? 3) if the Uzbek citizenship acquired as a result of deliberately false information or false documents..

  11. Political rights 1. Citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan have the right to participate in the affairs of society and the state, both directly and through their representatives. They may exercise by government, referendums and democratic formation of state bodies. R2. Citizens have the right to engage in public life by holding rallies, meetings and demonstrations in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Authorities have the right to suspend or ban these activities exclusively on the grounds of safety.

  12. 3. Citizens of Uzbekistan have the right to form trade unions, political parties and other public associations, to participate in mass movements.? 4. No one may infringe the rights, freedoms and dignity of persons constituting the minority opposition political parties, public organizations, mass movements, as well as representative bodies.? 5. Everyone has the right either alone or in community with others, to submit applications, proposals and complaints to the competent state bodies, institutions and public representatives.? Applications, proposals and complaints should be addressed in the manner and within the time limits set by law.

  13. Economic and Social Rights, everyone has the right to property.1. Bank secrecy and the right of inheritance shall be guaranteed by law. R2. Everyone has the right to work, to free choice of employment, to just conditions of work and to protection against unemployment in the manner prescribed by law.? Prohibits forced labor except in execution of the sentence of the court, or in other cases provided by law.? Employed employment shall have the right to paid holidays. The working hours of paid leave prescribed by law.

  14. 3. Everyone has the right to social security in old age, disability and survivors', and in other cases provided by law. Pensions, allowances and other forms of social assistance can not be lower than the officially established poverty level. No. 4. Everyone has the right to appropriate medical care.

  15. 5. Everyone has the right to education. State guarantee free education. Schooling shall be under the supervision of the state. 6. Everyone is guaranteed freedom of scientific and technical creativity, the right to enjoy culture. State provides for cultural, scientific and technological development of society.

  16. Guarantees of rights and freedoms State ensures the rights and freedoms enshrined by the Constitution and laws. Everyone is guaranteed judicial protection of his rights and freedoms, the right to appeal any unlawful actions of state bodies, officials and public associations. The rights of minors, the disabled, and the elderly are under state protection.? Women and men have equal rights.

  17. Responsibilities of citizens 1. All citizens have the obligations laid down by the Constitution. R2. Citizens are obliged to observe the Constitution and laws, to respect the rights, freedoms, honor and dignity of others. Citizens are obliged to protect the historical, spiritual and cultural heritage of the people of Uzbekistan. 3. Cultural monuments protected by the state. No. 4. Citizens are obliged to take care of the natural environment. 5. Citizens are required to pay statutory taxes and local charges.
