More Learning about Scratch:How do I stop? By Nicholas
O.K, Let’s learn to stop! If you pressed the green flag (which makes the animation move and start) , you want a way to stop it. Press the red octagon to stop your picture and it will play and reset.

How do I do an animation? • To animate in scratch, there are different color ovals in the top left corner of the screen. • If you want to make it move, press the oval that says motion. But, to put it in motion, you need to grab the flag button from the oval that says controls.
Hard work, but it pays off! • Sometimes, just making things move is boring if they look like they are just floating. • So, if your character has another costume, go to looks oval and choose the next costume. • Then connect it to the green flag. • Then press events • grab repeat • put it in the green flag.
Here are some examples of what we have created! • We hope you enjoy them! • The best thing is experimenting and playing on your own.
