How might we do this? • Any ideas? • Businesses focus on the “4 P’s” of marketing: Product, price, promotion and place
Product • Have we made a product consumers want to buy? • How can we make sure we do this? • How can we let consumers know this? • What does our brand name say about our product?
Pricing • The lowest price is not always the best price – why?

Place • How do we sell our product? • Vending machines? • Small retailers? • Large supermarkets? • Online? • Via Sales agents?!
Your task….. • 1. Come up with a brand name for your healthy bar. You need to be able to give a clear reason why you’ve chosen the brand name • 2. Come up with an advertising slogan for your bar. • 3 Design a billboard poster to coincide with the launch of your bar.
Presentation… • Your group must present their mini marketing plan to a panel of teachers next week. There will be a prize for the group with the best ideas and the most professional presentation. • Your presentation will be 3 minutes long maximum. Any longer and you will be timed out so you will need to have a PRACTICE before the lesson.
