  3. Task Group 4 Low Rate WPANS TASK GROUP 4 OBJECTIVES FOR THIS MEETING: 1. CONFERENCE CALL STATUS 2. COMMENT RESOLUTION ON LETTER BALLOT 13 3. SECURE WORKING GROUP APPROVAL TO MOVE TO RECIRCULATION 4. ZIGBEE RELATIONSHIP 5. INITIATE SPONSOR BALLOT POOL UPDATE 6. OBJECTIVES FOR MAY MEETING

  4. Task Group 4 Low Rate WPANS Letter Ballot 13 Recap: • 74 out of 89 voters returned a ballot • 55 voted yes (84.6%) • 10 voted no (15.4%) • 9 abstained (12.2% of total votes) ballot passed and proceeded on to comment resolution with 650 Comments)

  8. Major PHY TECH Issues • 868 MHz Band: current chip shaping doesn’t allow for full power (regulation allows 25 mW but max power with current shaping would restrict power to 1 mW)

  9. MAC Team Comment Resolution Status • 285 MAC comments: • 260 Comments accepted • 15 Comments rejected • 1 MAC comment remaining

  10. Major MAC TECH Issues • Extra byte in packet to identify MAC Packets • New primitives/commands for: • Association • Disassociation • GTS manipulation • Authentication as per (IEEE 802.15-130r1)

  11. Coexistence Team Comment Resolution Status 9 Coexistence comments Basically all focused on the same issue: Coexistence! Text that addresses all commeters concerns was created and accepted
