  4. Past Participles -AR verbs: • add -ado to the stem -ER/-IR verbs: • add -ido to the stem

  6. Imperfect • Since the yo and the Ud./él/ella forms are the same, we often use the subject pronouns to avoid confusion.

  8. The Imperfect • There are only three irregular verbs in the imperfect. The verbs IR, SER, and VER.
