  2. ACQUIESCE • VERB • Submit or comply silently or without protest • SYN: Consent Agree Comply Submit • ANT: Contest Protest Dispute • Although I really didn’t feel like cleaning my room, I decided to acquiesce because I knew my mom wouldn’t stop complaining until I did.

  3. AVERSION • NOUN • A strong feeling of dislike • SYN: Distaste Loathing Disgust • ANT: Liking Fondness Preference • Due to the pungent smell of the strong gouda cheese, the lady had an aversion to it and preferred the milder parmesan cheese.
