TIMELINE • 2 Hot Rolling Mills installed in a second productionunit • Round Bars, Hexagon & Squares, Flat Bars, and RCS Bars nowproduced • 5 Heat treatment furnaces and Bright Bar facilityinstalled • Certified OHSAS18001:2004. • Installation of an 10 MTA.O.D. • Introduced 200 series stainless steel • Annual production 18000MT. • Installation of 1st automated peeling line fromTaiwan. 1970-1985 2002-20052008-2015 2018 1 2005-2007 2015-2017 1985-2001 • Investment in cutting edge electric furnaces to increase melting capacity by 35% to go live in may2018 • Third production unit under construction • 2nd automated peeling line planned. • Ambica Steels wasfounded • Commenced operations with a 5 MT EAF & Ingot CastingPit • Annual capacity of 10,000 MT alloy steelonly. • Duplex Grades F-51, F-60 & PH grade 17-4 PHdeveloped • In March 2010, Ambica steels AS 9100certified • Annual capacity now 60000 MT with betterfurnaces. • Annual capacity now 40000 MT with better furnaces • Installation of 9/16 Continuous Billet Caster with EMS stirring from concastIndia • Austenitics grades 304, 316, 316 Ti, 321 nowmanufactured. • Certified ISO 9001:2000 &14001:2001 • A.D.
