  2. D.O.B • Karl was born in 1938 • In Hamburg Germany • He was also born into a wealthy family.

  3. 1952 • He then moved to Paris to pursue with his Fashion Design Career. • He stayed in Paris until he won a prize for a wool coat from the Wool Secretariat in 1954.

  4. Glass Designs? • For his latest Clothing line he hosted it in a Pop-Up-Shop. • His Sculptured wine glasses, had to collaborate with Swedish glasswork company Orrefors.

  5. Paris, Oct 1, 2008 • On this date Karl released one of his best known Spring Collection In Paris. • Also for this Spring collection he talked about “Blurring”-That is rendering things not quite as they seem.

  6. Paris, March 7, 2010 • For this Collection Karl came back with his Past, Present and, future. • He used more leather and dark silk colored features in this fabulous collection of 2010.

Work • In 2002 Karl had maintained a Design contract with the Japanese firm Isetan, to create collection both for men & women • He also had a lingerie line in the USA produced by Eve Stillman • Was Designing shoes for Charles Jourdan • Sweaters for Ballantyne • And worked with Trevira as a Fashion adviser

Karl & RenzoRosso • In 2002 Karl decided to launch his first Denim collection. • He asked to collaborate with RenzoRosso CEO founder for Diesel. • The collection was titled “ Lagerfeld Gallery by Diesel ” • It was presented on the Paris Fashion Week • During the first week of sales in New York, more then 90% of the trousers where already sold out.
