  1. Hotmail is only one of the few free online email providers that can be accessed from any PC with Internet access. You can similarly configure Outlook to enable you to send emails through Hotmail. You can do this by following these given simple steps or Hotmail support team can also help you in this regard.

  2. 1- If you are logged into your Outlook account then go to “File” and next you have to click on “Add account” from its “Info” tab in Outlook.

  3. 2- Now, you need to click on “Manually configure server settings….” option and then click “Next” to complete this process.

  4. 3- On next page, you’ll get an option “Internet Email”, after selecting this option you have to click “Next”.

  5. 4- On next screen, it will ask you to enter your name you wish to see on Outbound email in name section.

  6. 5- Now you need to enter your Hotmail email address and then choose “POP3” from its account type dropdown menu.

  7. 6- Next, you need to enter “pop3.live.com” in its incoming mail server (SMTP) box and “smtp.live.com” in outgoing mail server, and then type your username in its username section.

  8. 7- On next section, it will ask you to enter your Hotmail account password in its password section.

  9. 8- You can check mark the box if you don’t wish to enter password every time when you use Outlook to access your Hotmail account. It might be less secure and additional security is necessary.

  10. 9- Next, you have to click on “More Settings” and then select “Outgoing server” tab and then check mark on “My Outgoing server (SMTP)….” and then select “Use same settings….” option.

  11. 10- Once you do so click on “Advanced” option and then you have to enter “995” in its incoming mail server section and “25” in its outgoing server section.

  12. 11- Now, you need to check mark “This server requires….” box.

  13. 12- Now check mark on “Leave a copy of messages...” if you want to access your email online and if you don’t do so then your emails will be deleted automatically once they are downloaded to your Outlook inbox.

  14. 13- Now click “Okay” and then click “Next” to complete this process and Outlook will automatically check and make sure that settings are correct.

  15. 14- Now click “Finish” when Outlook complete this setup check.
