VOCABULARY IN USE • Philistine • I guess I am a philistine since I don’t enjoy Modern Art. • Philanthropy • My father was a great believes in philanthropy – he loves donating money and time to the local soup kitchen. • Phylogeny • In biology we studied the phylogeny of the Colobus Monkey. • Philosophism • She is a liar and I know better than to fall for her philosophisms. • Philosophaster • What a philosophaste- she doesn’t know anything about Nietzche!
