Job Corps Administration • Department of Labor develops policy and regulatory guidance • Regional Office (RO) awards contracts, provides oversight, monitoring, and TA
Job Corps Administration • National Health Office handles national health issues; provides direction in health matters to ROs; monitors health and wellness programs • Health Support contractor provides TA to ROs/centers through regional health consultants (RHCs), provides technical support to National Health Office • RHCs conduct center assessments, provide technical assistance to center staff, and conduct trainings to center health staff at health support contractor’s direction

PRH Basic Health Services • Cursory health evaluation including cursory oral exam and medical history (within 48 hours) • Entrance physical exam and review of medical history (within 14 days) • Laboratory testing (within 48 hours) • Immunizations • Case management of chronic health problems • Mandatory oral exam by center dentist (between 45th and 75th day)

Counseling • Group/individual based on intervention plan • Assessment of ongoing effectiveness • Documentation in health record of all sessions
Relapse Prevention • Students with history of drug use receive relapse prevention • Methods used are determined by the needs of the population • Documentation of services provided in medical record
Prevention and Education • Provide AOD information during • Wellness classes • Work readiness classes • Dorm meetings • Vocation classrooms safety meetings
Center Director • Frequent meetings with CD to discuss • Center AOD programs • Test statistics
Health and Wellness Manager • HWM is TEAP counselor’s supervisor • Budget requests • Time schedules
Health and Wellness Staff • Assist with sample collection for drug testing, as needed • Refer students to TEAP when AOD use is suspected
Basic Education and Vocation • Meet with education and vocation staff to: • Discuss suspicious behavior identification and referral • Provide AOD information related to employment
Center Mental HealthConsultant • Request student evaluations • Discuss case management • Support students with dual diagnosis
Center Standards Officer • Process referrals when students violate the ZT policy • Assist with the development of appropriate sanctions
Counselors • Refer students to counseling groups; stress management, anger control, and peer resistance groups • Driver’s Education Instructor • Provide AOD information at driver’s education classes • Health and Wellness Instructor • Be a guest speaker at sessions related to AOD information
Workplace Readiness Coordinator • Introduce TEAP during orientation • Personnel Manager • Schedule center staff for AOD policy training and document in personnel file • Placement Specialist • Enforce the concept of fitness for work during exit phase • Recreation Staff • Assist with provision of alternate leisure-time activities
Reporting • Provide information on the number and results of alcohol tests for alcohol testing report • Testing Integrity • Use proper chain-of-custody principles • Assist with staff training in use of AOD testing supplies • Bloodborne Pathogen Plan • Ensure compliance with plan
Center Committees • Meet with center committees as requested • Meet with student government health and wellness committee
Continuous Quality Improvement • Use of student satisfaction surveys • Conduct continuous evaluation of program success
Standing Orders • Assist with training • Collaborate on change when asked
Special Programs • Tobacco Use Prevention Program (TUPP) • Assist in developing program and implement as required in PRH
