DRM2 • 1.1m uTMA telescope, single channel, 2.4um cutoff • 6x2 H4RG(-10) @0.18”/pixel, ~0.50 sq. deg • Falcon9 LV to L2 orbital position • 6 position Filter wheel plus shutter: • 4 bandpass filters, ~1.0-2.4um; SN prism, uL wide filter, • Insertable GRS prism in 2nd wheel • Enables galaxy redshift survey • Aggressive schedule: project will push on 72 month ICE Probe baseline; use extended early phases to get H4RG(-10) to TRL6 • WL must be goal/best effort • Selective redundancy • Phase E: 36 mo to be chosen from: • #1 15mo uL, • #2 6mo SN; • #3 15mo GO +gal plane • #4 12 mo imaging survey • #5 12 mo galaxy redshift survey • Will quantify return for extended mission out to 10yr • H4RG backup: H2RG with larger pixel scale [9x4 @0.21”/pixel] • Options: • IFU v. SN prism in wheel • Improve SN return & systematics
