  4. Real Sources of acquiring Correct life related Knowledge in Islam

  5. Which one is correct? • General knowledge means ordinary knowledge • Common sense means ordinary knowledge • both are correct • non is correct

  6. Real meaning • General knowledge means acquired general knowledge • Common sense means Allah gifted general knowledge

  7. So the Allah (ST) gifted sources of acquiring life related knowledge are- • The Qur’an (Allah gifted root proved knowledge) • Sunnah (Allah gifted proved knowledge. It is the explanation of the Qur’an) • Common sense (Allah gifted general knowledge)

  8. Principle of acquiring Correct life related Knowledge in Islam using the Allah gifted Sources of knowledge

  9. The principle of acquiring correct knowledge in reality

  10. Example-1 • Principle of arresting criminals in all countries of the world

  11. The police identifies and arrests criminals primarily by using the general knowledge received during training The Judges on the basis of evidence (proof) detains or sets them free finally

  12. Example-2 • Principle of diagnosis in Medical science

  13. Any Patient Primary (Provisional) diagnosis by any doctoron the basis of the general knowledge he acquired from medical college Final diagnosis by matching the primary diagnosis with proofs (reports of investigations)

  14. The diagnosis of previous doctorscan be seen but that must be after the Provisional diagnosis .

  15. So in reality there are two stages in acquiring correct knowledge- • Primary decision by using general knowledge of the subject • Final decision by matching the primary decision with proved knowledge of the subject

  16. Allah (ST) also has given man two types knowledge to acquire life related knowledge. They are- • The Qur’an (Allah gifted fundamental proved knowledge) • Sunnah (Allah gifted proved knowledge. It is the explanation of Qur’an) • Common sense (Allah gifted general knowledge)

  17. And so, according to reality the Islamic principle of acquiring correct life related knowledge will be-

  18. Any subject Primary decisionby using Common Sense (Allah-gifted general knowledge) {or Science (Allah gifted special knowledge)} Final decision by assessing the Primary decision with the Qur’an (Allah gifted root proved knowledge) If not possible, Final decision by assessing the Primary decision with the Sunnah(Allah gifted proved knowledge)

  19. Afterwardsif present thefinal decision may be matched with Izma or Qias and the more factual one can be accepted

  20. The Qur’an has presented the principle in the following way

(Nisa/4 : 59)

  22. Meaning: O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger and the UlilAmr. If (by common sense) you differ in anything , refer it to Allah (the Qur’an) and His Messenger (the Sunnah),if you believe in Allah and in the Last Day. That is better and more suitable for final result.

  23. So, according to this verse the principle of coming to a final decision in any subject is-

  24. Any subject Primary decisionby using information of Common sense (Allah gifted general knowledge) Final decision by assessing the Primary decision with information ofthe Qur’an (Allah gifted root proved knowledge) If not possible, Final decision by assessing the Primary decision with information of the Sunnah(Allah gifted proved knowledge)

  25. Sunnah’s support on the principle

  26. The method of action followed by the Rasul (S), in regard to the propagated slander related to Ayesha (R) in the battle of Al-Mustalik,is as follows-

  27. After hearing the rumor, Rasul (S) through his Allah-gifted general knowledge (common sense) arrived at a primary decision thatAyesha (R) may be guilty. And accordingly he maintained a certain amount of distance between himself and Ayesha (R).

  28. The proof of the fact that Rasul (S) did take a primary and not a final decision is that he did not divorce Ayesha (R).

  29. Afterwards verses of the Qur’an were revealed concerning the issue, which cleared Ayesha (R) from the allegations.

  30. Rasul (S) then rejected his primary decision and according to the statement of the Qur’an took final decision that Ayesha (R) is not guilty. And accordingly He brought Ayesha (R) back home.

  31. So, according to this Hadith the principle of coming to a final decision in any subject is-

  32. Any subject Primary decisionby using Common sense (Allah gifted general knowledge) Final decision by assessing the Primary decision with information ofthe Qur’an (Allah gifted root proved knowledge)

  33. Thank You مع السلام
