Make pastry or buy packet of ready made. Roll out pastry. Put the circles into mince pie tray, fill each case with a spoon of mincemeat. Cut circles out of pastry. Put lids on filled mincepies, brush with egg or milk. Put mincepies in the oven. 200C or Gas mark 6 15-20 minutes. Ingredients

Put lids on filled mincepies, brush with egg or milk Put mincepies in the oven. 200C or Gas mark 6 15-20 minutes • Ingredients • 1/2 x quantity shortcrust pastry (or 1/2 ready made packet) • Jar of mincemeat • Icing sugar • 1 egg, beaten (or 25ml milk)  Take mincepies out of the sprinkle with icing sugar, cool and eat
