  7. Use Properties to Multiply Mentally Use properties of multiplication to find 8 × 15 × 5 mentally. Since you can easily multiply 8 and 5, change the order and group the numbers together. 8 × 15 × 5 = 8 × 5 × 15 Commutative Property = (8 × 5) × 15 Associative Property = 40 × 15 Find 8 × 5 mentally. = 600 Find 40 × 15 mentally.
