Introduction • Obesity is an important risk factor for cardiovascular disease, diabetes and other health problems. • Age, sex, economic and work status, education, are all involved in the prevalence of obesity, very few data are available concerning the interaction between all these variables and nutritional factors.
In recent years, research has started to examine the cumulative effects of economic stress or disadvantage across the lifecourse and how such effects impact both physical functioning and mental health. • Determination of the social factors involved in obesity may well be important in order to design intervention and prevention strategies.
Method • CVDFACTS (CardioVascular Disease risk FACtor Two-township Study) • age>18, • involved in both cycle2 and cycle3 • 3550 participants . • Obesity : • BMI >27 • Waist >90 for men and >80 for women • To descript the variation of incidence of obesity(BMI, waist) according to sex、age、level of education and marital status.
