PATIENT QUALIFICATIONS... • Have financial need • Verified by clergy, social worker, etc • Medically cleared to fly • Mandatory before we can coordinate a flight • Be ambulatory and able to sit upright • Provide 5 business days notice • Exceptions based on situation Above doesn’t apply for air ambulance service...
PROGRAMS... • National Patient Air Transport Helpline • Provides information about all forms of charitable, long-distance medical air transportation and provides referrals to all appropriate sources of help available in the national charitable medical air transportation network • Angel Flight Mid-Atlantic • Ambulatory outpatients traveling less than 1000 miles departing from District of Columbia, Delaware, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia

PROGRAMS... • Air Compassion For Veterans • Provide medically related air transport services to troops, veterans and their immediate family members • Homeland Security Emergency Air Transportation System (HSEATS) • HSEATS is the disaster response component of MMA • 2,600 missions completed in KATRINA response • Child/Special Lift • Provides for nationwide administration of clinical trial travel requirements in support of special/rare disease organizations.
