Hideki Tojo: Pearl Harbor • There was a major war conflict between Japan and China. Japan wanted to expand it’s boarders and gain protection from China. • At first, the United States was aiding Japan in their efforts but then began selling weapons and supplies to China. • The U.S. did not agree with Japans efforts against China and began to decrease economic support for their war.
