Who are VSO-RAISA? • Aim: contribute to mitigating the impact of the HIV & AIDS pandemic in Southern Africa • A Capacity development organisation that works through a variety of tools • Funded by: PSO, Irish Aid, TMF, BLF, Comic Relief, SIDA, Merck • Work in six Southern African countries: Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe

  4. Tools • Volunteer Development Workers • Small Grants • Horizontal Learning: Study tours, conference, mentoring, work placements • Training and Workshops • Publication and Dissemination • Advocacy support
