  2. Goal • To improve my exam marks throughout the semester • To stay focused in class

  3. Background • I have always procrastinated my work • Even during class I do not stay focused since know that I can do my homework later on When I started this project I knew my exam marks could be much higher if I changed my way of studying

  4. Statement of work The study skills I used during this project were: • To prepare for exams much earlier • Take notes in class to focus • Review these notes within 24 hours • Use flashcards before tests • Make a study- schedule to organize time

  5. Tasks • Take notes during class (focus) • Use these notes to prepare for tests (exam marks) • Make study- schedule (organize time)

  6. Deliverables This is what I turned in to the constructor: Lecture notes Time schedule Flash cards Exam marks

  7. Since I have to be at study hall 10 hours each week I have had a lot of time to use and try these new strategies I would guess that I have spent around 5 hours each week on this project (except all the class periods where I have taken notes) This means that I have spent about 50 hours on this project This project has not added anything to my study load. As a matter of fact I think I have earned time The reviewing of my class notes and the flashcards have been very helpful tools Schedule/Work effort

  8. Evaluation • I am very happy with the results of this projects, since I my exams marks (compared to class ave.) have been better and better throughout the whole semester • The only thing I would do differently If I hade to do this project again is to review my lecture notes even more often • The time schedule really helped to get things done. I have not used a calendar for years before this… • I will probably continue using all these methods in the future
