Selection Criteria • Subject interesting to our students, thought provoking • Clear, exemplary writing style • Themes that would appeal to many disciplines, opportunities for assignments and classroom discussion • Availability of author for campus visit variety of formats – print, ebook, audio supporting literature and materials • Promotes the “Three Pillars”
Three Pillars Student centered – Provides examples of critical thinking, understanding our legal system Discovery driven – Uncovering facts using forensic evidence, persist in find a way to find a solution Globally engaged – World is full of injustices, look for ways to alleviate injustices
