  3. WHY STATEMENT Master Networks’ mission is to lead a movement of learning-based, service-oriented entrepreneurs and business leaders. Our commitment is to educate, equip, and empower our members so that they are inspired to create and design a legacy beyond the business.

  8. TRAINING TIDBIT This Training Tidbit is brought to you by Master Networks University, where entrepreneurs and business leaders learn, grow, and profit. Master Networks leadership worked together to create a list of ten items called Brilliant in the Basics. These 10 items are fundamental to the success of our chapters and members. Today’s training tidbit focuses on Brilliant in the Basics #4: Be retention focused. Stay connected and renew the benefits. We know that retention of members is higher, and your membership is most successful, when the three things are present: friendship, chapter responsibility, and world-class training. When seeking friendship in our chapters, we seek someone we can connect with. This ties in to our teaching that your friendships and partnerships should be relational, not transactional. When networking, it’s not what you know, but who you know that matters. Use B.O.N.D during your Face to Face meetings to form these relationships and develop opportunities that benefit you both. Taking time to connect with your Master Networks family will benefit you personally and professionally (00:58).

  9. TRAINING TIDBIT Next, everyone needs a chapter responsibility. There are many opportunities to serve in your chapter. Are you always on time and have an outgoing personality? You might be perfect for the welcome team! Do you love to learn and share what you’ve learned? Consider joining the training and development team. With so many opportunities for involvement, your personal strengths can be a huge benefit to your chapter and fellow members (00:20.83). Lastly, Master Networks provides you with world-class training. In addition to the weekly chapter training, you have access to training modules in Master Networks University, Regional Workshops, and our annual convention, CONNECT. Take some time to explore MNU and find additional training that can benefit you! When you take advantage of these three things -- friendship, chapter responsibility, and world-class training -- you will stay connected and use your Master Networks membership benefits to connect, share, and prosper!(00:50.17) (Tidbit read by Chas Wilson, CEO of Master Networks)

Friendship:Focus on building relationships and getting to know your chapter members. Use B.O.N.D.! Participate in community service and social events. Support fellow chapter members and celebrate successes. Chapter Responsibility: Find ways to contribute your time and talents to your chapter. Be coachable and willing to learn a new skill. World-class Training: Your journey as a business leader and entrepreneur never ends, so keep learning and improving!

  14. B.O.N.D. Breakout Time to Practice Pair up to practice B.O.N.D. with someone you don’t know and being the process of developing a relationship so you can support each other. Time for Action Schedule a face-to-face with your partner before your next chapter meeting to continue your conversation. Mastery Coaching Enrichment: Use pages 11-12, 43, and 50-51 in the Playbook’s Implementation section to apply these same principles to your team.
