Antitrust Admonition ANTITRUST ADMONITION ERCOT strictly prohibits Market Participants and their employees who are participating in ERCOT activities from using their participation in ERCOT activities as a forum for engaging in practices or communications that violate the antitrust laws. The ERCOT Board has approved guidelines for members of ERCOT Committees, Subcommittees and Working Groups to be reviewed and followed by each Market Participant attending ERCOT meetings. If you have not received a copy of these Guidelines, copies are available at the Client Relations desk. Updates and Progress • RARF Metrics Overall • Status for the past week: • Sent all Iteration 2 Audit Reports on 11/03 • If no audit report was received, no issues were reported • Total RARF’s Accepted: 110 (up from 82 (35%) ) • RARF’s left to correct: 122 (down from 150) • 72 RARF’s returned, but still contain errors (down from 92) • 12 RARF’s have not been revised and sent to ERCOT for iteration 1 (down from 16) • 2 have never been sent in (unchanged) • 38 Load RARF’s are in progress with the resource entities (these were sent later than generation RARF’s) (down from 40) • Current production quality metric = 97% • 3% of the issues are now spread across 52% of the RARFs http://nodal.ercot.com 4
Updates and Progress • Where are we at? • Iteration 2 In Progress • Account Managers will contact all RARF’s still outstanding • We will use WebEx where needed in order to interactively assist MP’s with issues • Please continue to use nodalmarkettransition@ercot.com for questions • Dashboard Updates for Iteration 2 • Dashboard (weekly) will reflect all positive changes to outstanding iteration 1 corrections as well as progressing iteration 2 corrections • Issues reported to MP’s in iteration 2 must be resolved by 11/18 • RARF’s not fully corrected by RE’s by 12/12 will not be included in the initial model and could be at risk for participation in Market Trials http://nodal.ercot.com 5

Special Topics • GenSite Topology Form • This form will be re-absorbed into the RARF establishing 1 artifact that describes data related to GenSites • Includes the original GSU Transformer and Transmission Assets • Includes the TDF (used in zonal and MP-10 – will retire TDF form) • ERCOT will be finalizing this merge and working to create an extended audit process to cover transmission assets submitted in the RARF over the next 6-8 weeks • ERCOT will use existing data in the RARF’s to populate these tabs • Initially MP’s will be asked to validate and correct that data as well as filling any gaps in the tabs. • Upon re-submittal to confirm or correct data, the audit process will begin • PUN’s will be engaged at the beginning of ’09 • PUN’s engaged early as these represent the most gaps in the model • All other Resources will be after Single Entry Model go-live http://nodal.ercot.com 7
