  3. The purpose of this slide show is to show some of the things that people encounter on their trip to the dentist office, and also to show that getting your teeth worked on is not a big deal. You will also learn of some things that are important to do to maintain a healthy smile.

  4. Everyone wants a pretty smile For this picture I whitened my teeth, which is my favorite editing tool of them all. Then I used the blemish removed to get rid of some spots. And I finished it up with a touch of lip color.

  5. To have a pretty smile you should find the tooth paste that works best for you This picture I fixed the color, cropped out the camera strap, labeled it and added a boarder to make it look nicer

  6. Now pick a toothbrush!!! - Don't forget to brush morning and night for at least 3 minutes. Once again I fixed the lighting and added a boarder. On a lot of my pictures I didn’t want to change the color too much or crop too much of the picture out because I didn’t want to loose any detail.

  7. After you brush make sure you floss. A lot of people get cavities in between there teeth because they don’t floss like they should. I fixed the shadows, as well as created a boarder and labeled my picture.

  8. A lot of people have to wear a retainer in order to keep their teeth straight. There wasn’t much to edit with this picture it was just like I wanted it to be.

  9. And don’t forget the mouth Wash, it is good for your gums. I fixed the lighting and shadows and then I added the graduated tint effect to finish the look. I also gave myself a sunless tan 

  10. Now lets take a look at some teeth. Here are the 1st and 2nd molars as well as premolars. - I labeled the teeth. And fixed the contrast.

  11. The next slide will show a picture of a K9 it is the pointy tooth. Once again I whitened my teeth added some lipstick and gave myself a tan, I also removed some blemishes.

  12. Next we will look at some things that you will see when you go to the dentist office

  13. The first thing they will do is ask you to sit in a chair that will most likely look a lot like this one. I cropped the pictures on the wall out a little to better center the picture.

  14. Next they will probably take an x-ray of your teeth that looks like the one below. I used the heat map effect on this picture. Sometimes the dentist will make an x-ray look like this to see the nerve spaces better.

  15. Here is a high speed and slow speed drill. They are both used often by the dentist when he is removing decay from a tooth I cropped this photo so that it was up closer and I also used the black and white effect.

  16. These tools are a dental assistants best friends. I used the sepia effect for this picture.

  17. The mirror and the explorer are the two most commonly used tools in a dental office. I think the drawn effect is really cool.

  18. Everyone will be wearing gloves and a mask. I fixed the lighting and contrast on this picture it was way too dark before.

  19. The next two slides are my before and after pictures of a set up used to do fillings.I simply labeled all the items on the tray so that it would be easy to see the things the dentist uses to fill a tooth.
