  2. What is Offshore Outsourcing? • Domestic Jobs sent overseas • To minimize a businesses cost • White collar jobs

  3. Stance • Offshore Outsourcing is bad for the U.S. • Loses jobs for Americans • Hurts the U.S. Economy • Upsets the People/Harder to manage

  4. Loses American Jobs • U.S. has large unemployment • Jobs may be gone forever • Lose knowledge of those jobs • Young people will stop pursuing high technology jobs

  5. Hurts U.S. economy • Money spent overseas is not taxed • Americans must take pay cuts • Less money in peoples hands means less spent

  6. Upsets people/harder to manage • Foreign customer service assistants can be frustrating. • Time zone differences • Labor laws not necessarily enforced • Cultural differences

  7. Refutations • Businesses are only there to make money • Will help our relationship with other countries.

  8. Counter Arguments • They are made up of America’s leaders, they should be ethical. • They should respect America’s well being over unnecessary self prosperity. • Should not have to take jobs from Americans to mend relationships with other countries.
