  1. The 2th International Conference on Advanced Electromaterials (ICAE 2013) Lead-Free Piezoelectric Ceramics Li0.03(K0.5Na0.5)0.97(Ta0.1-xSbxNb0.9)O3Ching-Hsing Pei1, Kai-Huang Chen2, Ming-Chang Kuan2, Jing-Jou Tang1, Chien-Min Cheng1*, Chun-Hao Chang11Department of Electronic Engineering, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Tainan, Taiwan, R.O.C.2Department of Electronics Engineering and Computer Science, Tung-Fang Design University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, R.O.C. In this research, lead-free piezoelectric ceramics Li0.03(K0.5Na0.5)0.97(Ta0.1-xSbxNb0.9)O3 were fabricated by the conventional solid state reaction method. The crystalline and microstructure were observed by the XRD and SEM, respectively. The impedance analyzer was used to measure the relative dielectric constant, loss tangent, and electromechanical coupling coefficient. And the d33 meter (YE2730A) was used to measure the piezoelectric coefficient. From the measured results, it can be observed that as the content of Sb (x values) increased, the Curie temperature decreased and the relative dielectric constant increased obviously. The optimal piezoelectric characteristics were: piezoelectric coefficient d33 = 201 pC/N, electromechanical coupling coefficient kP = 40.6 %, and relative dielectric constant r = 1179. SEM microscopes XRD patterns TC characteristics Dielectric constant of i0.03(K0.5Na0.5)0.97(Ta0.1-xSbxNb0.9)O3 ceramics (measured at 10 kHz) TO-T characteristics
