Level sensors are of two types: point level sensors and continuous level sensors. A point level sensor provides a reading of the media level at a specific point whereas a continuous level sensor provides a continuous reading of the media level inside the container. Level sensors are divided into two technological segments: Electronic Process Level Measurement and Mechanical Process Level Measurement.
