  1. GOOGLE UPDATES the Search Console Search  Analytics API

Google has recently announced that a major update was implemented on its Search Console Analytics API intended to help digital marketers and SEO experts to have access to important data for 16 full months. In an article published in Search Engine Journal, it was revealed that the recent update was designed to expand the amount of data that can be accessed using the Search Console Analytics API. The same article also explained that the improvements made now enable users to access full 16 months of relevant data that are automatically provided by the web UI.

It can be remembered that when Google introduced the all-new web version of the Google Search Console for the web in January, it has enabled users to view the past 16 months of data and this allowed them to conveniently determine the changes that they implement to further boost their sites’ performance. During the said announcement, Google has mentioned that the API version would also be tweaked to grant users access to 16 months of data. However, SEO practitioners haven’t heard anything about the said plan since then. Thus, the recent announcement that Google currently provided is now considered as the fulfillment of its previous intention to provide users with such functionality.

  4. The latest announcement was revealed to the public via Twitter. In a post made through the Google Webmaster’s official Twitter account and dated 19 June 2018, Google hinted that the access to 16 full months of data provided by the UI is now available. Due to these changes, users can now easily integrate such data on their CMS as well as when creating their own tools. Also, a link was provided to users to access a document that further explains the tweaks that are readily available. The latest batch of updates implemented by Google is presently regarded as a breakthrough since this will help Search Console UI users to work more conveniently because the amount of available data in the console has increased and this allows them to come up with more options to improve their sites’ performance.
