  1. Watership Down is an epic novel with complex characters and story lines. This novel is long and requires the reader to complete the assignments on time. To help you accomplish this goal, you will have several reading assignments over the next few months. It is imperative that you keep up with your reading. Should school be cancelled due to inclement weather, your reading assignment is due on the date listed or the next English class. The date listed for each assignment is the day you need to have the assignment read. Along with each reading, you are being asked to complete two charts to help you better understand the novel. You are expected to bring the novel and the two charts to class each time there is an assignment due. You must also write a 3-5 sentence summary for each chapter. This is how I will know you have completed the reading.
