Why Italy? • The Italian Rennascaince is the most prevelent and well known one. • Wars between Venice and Turkey • Othello is a General.
Elizabeth Elizabeth! • Elizabeth 1 • Elizabethan Era- 1533-1603 -Renaissance -Great exploration time
Women! • Were considered inferior to men • Fathers looked after daughters until they became wives, and if they couldn’t be a wife a male relative would watch over them. • Women were to be housewives and Mothers. • Were educated at this time, but no law, Medicine, or political jobs.
