  6. Plaster of Paris • A calcium sulfate powder that hardens when mixed with water

  7. Plaster Wrap: • Fabric that has been infused with plaster

  8. Papier Mache • glue mixture that uses newspaper, wheat paste and water

  10. Balance • Feeling of visual stability • Asymmetrical: uneven on both sides • Symmetrical: even on both sides • Radial: symmetrical around a center point

  11. Motif: • A central design or theme

  12. Unity • All the elements & principles are working together & the artwork looks finished.

  13. Your project… • Sculpture: Individual projects only. • Art 1:You may work ALONE or with 1 OTHER PERSON. NO EXCEPTIONS. • This means no groups of 3 so don’t ask. • If the partnership you choose isn’t going well (no work getting done, arguing etc), you will be separated & work alone. • You will create a pair of “Art glasses” that use a “Pun”
