  2. : : Description Species Information Size : to 1.5 inches long Range : midwater 2,297-3,281 feet Relatives : other shimp; crabs; lobsters. Cool facts : Shrimp’s long antennae—nearly four times its body length—may help it find food or mates by sensing chemicals produced by other animals.

  3. : : Food • Animal plankton, including euphausiids.

  4. : Survival : Conservation Notes Anything that finds its way into the ocean, whether it's tossed away as trash, washes off a beach or falls off a boat, may eventually make its way to the deep sea. It's important to realize that the deep sea is not so far away that it's beyond the reach of human activities. Living creatures in the deep are affected by what we do at the surface.

  5. : Digestion : • Shrimp digestion goes from the head to the stomach and then out the rear. • Glow shrimp to the right.

  6. : : Reproduction • The shrimp has different names for how old it is these are them eggs, Naupllus, Protozoea, Mysis, Postlarva, Juenille, and Adult.

  7. : : Conclusion • Shrimp are cool because we eat them and still they are not endangered.
