Supplementary Figure 1. The geographic map shows the collected site of the parents of BcDH accessions of B. carinata. Eight of the nine accessions were collected from the plateau of Ethiopia (see right of the map) and only one accession, CGN0976, was collected from an island,São Tomé, in the Gulf of Guinea near the equator.
Supplementary Figure 2 Ordination analysis for the 110 accessions of Brassica carinata performed with two-dimensional multidimensional scaling. One of the accessions of BcDH parental, 3976 (shows with a green triangle at far right side), is apart from other eight BcDH lines especially the BcDH3964 which was used as parent along with BcDH3976 to develop YW DH mapping population of B. carinata.
Supplementary Figure 3BcDH76, BcDH64 and their F1 plant were cultivated in the growth chamber with 16 hrs photoperiod and at day/night temperature 25℃.
