  2. Directions • You will be divided into new teams of five so that each team has an equal number of students. The teams will decide which member takes each role. • Roles: • Noisemaker: This student will make a noise when their team decides on an answer. Each team must have a different noise, which will be approved by me before the start of the game. • Scribe: This student will take brief notes on each of the advertisements so that your group can complete work later. • Speaker: This student will give the team’s answer after their Noisemaker has been chosen. • Troubleshooter: This student will make sure that the group discussion stays focused and facilitate a vote if a team cannot decide on an answer. • Scorekeeper: This student will keep track of their team’s score so that the final tally can be accurate.

  3. Rules • You may not shout out answers. If someone shouts out an answer, that question will be trashed and no one will receive the points. • When a Noisemaker is chosen for a question, the team has 20 seconds to decide on an answer. After 20 seconds, the question goes back to the entire group and another team can answer. • Only the Speaker may give the final answer to the question. • Scoring: A team receives two points for a correct answer. If a team answers a question incorrectly, they lose one point. The team with the most points at the end wins.
