ENGL 6750/7750 Film Studies • Course Requirements • Critical Essay or Special Project--choose one of the following (30% of course grade) • A 2,000 word critical/interpretive encounter (approved by me) with film studies (no sources required). • A pedagogical film studies project: a course syllabus, website, power point presentation, annotated bibliography/videography, etc. • Major Paper: A source paper of not less than 4,000 words on some aspect of film studies approved by me. | 50% of course grade • Class Participation: Your evaluation in this area will be based on your contributions in class discussion and, in addition, presentations throughout the course | 20% of course grade
