Jeffery Whippo Develops Metrics to Assess Effective and Ineffective Leadership

Dr. Jeffery Whippo goes on to say that a few of the most widely used metrics are used to rank effective and ineffective leaders. The main drawback of using superiors' ratings is that the raters might not be willing to give harsh criticism. It comprises rating superiors' effectiveness and performance ratings, subordinates' ratings of their job satisfaction & morale of their leader's effectiveness, and business unit performance indices. One benefit is that scores are averaged to produce a mean performance rating, which is determined by the leaders' behaviors and the utilization of many raters.
