Inter Tribal Council of Arizona Headline • Mission Statement • To provide its member tribes with a united voice and the means for united action on matters that affect them collectively or individually…. • Established in 1952 to provide a united voice for tribal governments in Arizona • Established a private, non-profit corporation in 1975 to promote Indian self-reliance through public policy development • Members of ITCA are the highest tribal elected officials • Governed by Board of Directors composed of President, First Vice President, Second Vice President, and Secretary • Work of ITCA staff is carried out under the direction of Maria Dadgar, Executive Director. • Operate more that 30 projects and employs a staff of 70 • Provide technical assistance, training, research, • data collection, resource development
